Any Occasions Card featuring the Wishing you Well Stamp Set and Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper

Hello and welcome to my Blog. Today I'm featuring one of my favourite Stamp Sets from the 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. - Wishing You Well.

In my view, this set stands out in the Holiday catalogue (which is a big statement in itself) because of it's versatility. It has some seasonal elements but will be useful throughout the year for beautiful note cards, get well and sympathy cards, just to name a few.

To make this beautiful "Wishing You Well" Card you need to cut:
  • Night of Navy cardstock at 11 inches x 4 1/8 inches, score at 5 1/2 inches to form base card
  • Night of Navy cardstock 4 1/2 inches x 3 1/8 inches
  • Frosted Floral DSP 5 3/8 inches x 4 inches
  • Whisper White cardstock 4 3/8 inches x 3 inches (for stamping)
  • Whisper White cardstock 3 inches x 1 inch for sentiment
  • Whisper White cardstock 5 3/8 inches x 4 inches (for insert)

Stamp bouquet from Stamp Set on small panel of Whisper White using Mossy Meadow ink. Position image slightly higher than half way to allow for sentiment. Stamp bow from stamp set in Night of Navy Ink. Stamp sentiment on smallest panel of Whisper White in Night of Navy ink.

Using liquid glue attach the DSP to your base card and stamped panel to firstly to your Night of Navy panel and then to base card.

Decorate bow with Wink of Stella if desired. Be aware that Wink of Stella will make the Night of Navy ink run slightly so make sure you stay within the lines here.

Attach sentiment with Dimensionals or other foam squares.

On the inside panel I have continued the theme by stamping the bouquet in bottom right hand corner (stamp off once). Attach inside with liquid glue.

Done! Well done... A beautifully simple but effective, heart felt card for any special occasion.

I like the reverse gate fold card as it highlights the central panel allowing the image to really pop out when on display. With normal orientation gate cards the central image is hidden behind the folds. The Holly Jolly Christmas Bundle is wonderful. Santa has so much personality and the other image match perfectly. See the link to my online store at the end of this blog to purchase this bundle and the other products featured in my blogs. To make this card you need cardstock and paper cut as follows:  Cherry Cobbler cardstock 11in x 4 1/8in. Scored at 2 3/4in, 4 1/8in. 6 7/8in and 8 1/4in Very Vanilla cardstock 3 7/8in square.
