Calendar easel card featuring First Frost Bundle from Stampin Up

Hello and Welcome to my Blog. Today I prove that Stampin Up cards are not just beautiful objects to be admired and popped in a drawer but can be useful gifts that bring pleasure every day for a year (or more)! These versatile easel calendars are the perfect small gift - for a loved one far away, a dear work colleague or favourite teacher. They are light, easy to make and fit perfectly in a standard C6 envelope for easy posting. The small calendar featured in this project was bought from a local online craft supplier. It measures 2 inches x 3 1/8 inches. To make these cards you need to cut: Night of Navy cardstock 11 1/2 inches x 4 1/8 inches, score at 5 3/4 inches and 2 7/8 inches to form easel Whisper White cardstock 5 5/8 inches x 4 inches for back panel Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper (DSP) of you choice 5 5/8 inches x 4 inches and 2 3/4 inches x 4 inches Night of Navy cardstock 2 1/8 inches x 3 1/4 inches as backing for calendar. Hello and welcome to my Blog. Today I'm featuring one of my favourite Stamp Sets from the 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. - Wishing You Well. In my view, this set stands out in the Holiday catalogue (which is a big statement in itself) because of it's versatility. It has some seasonal elements but will be useful throughout the year for beautiful note cards, get well and sympathy cards, just to name a few. Bouquet of flowers featuring the First Frost Bundle by Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am indulging my love of the First Frost Bundle and DSP creating this beautiful bouquet for a very special Wedding Card. This technique could be used in so many colour combinations for just about any occasion - the only limit is your imagination! Using the First Frost set on Whisper White cardstock, stamp as follows: 3 large roses in Berry Burst ink 1 small rose in Berry Burst ink 2 "buds" in Merry Merlot ink 2 leaf lines in Old Olive ink 2 leafy sprigs in Mossy Meadow ink and cut: 2 bud sprays from Mossy Meadow cardstock 2 leafy branches from Mossy Meadow cardstock As a base for your bouquet cut a small circle (about 2 inches in diameter) and cover with double sided tape (here I've used a wide tape purchased from my local craft store). Remove backing to reveal sticky surface and start positioning your leafy images to form background. Layer with more double sided tape as you cover the previous
